Understand the income plan

Why can retirement income change over time?

Pensions and benefits may be regular, but portfolio withdrawals depend on spending, markets and how long the money is needed. The Income Planner keeps those sources separate before showing how they work together.

Where do dividends fit?

Dividends can provide cash flow, but they are part of total return and can change. The Income Planner can compare an entered yield with the spending need without counting dividends twice or assuming that a high yield is safer.
